Highway 5
Taking Place: Highway 5 focuses on the region traversed by Highway 5 from Woodstock to Canton. The collection, produced by KSU seniors Todd Frary and Karen Burton, interprets how residents experience and understand place and community in Northwest Georgia. The series investigates such questions as: What ties residents to this place? What attracted residents to this place? What changes have they seen and experienced? What do we try to hold on to as communities change?
The Highway 5 Collection was featured at a public listening session on December 12th, 2006, at the Holly Springs Depot.
